AMVETS Mission Statement: To enhance and safeguard the entitlements for all American Veterans who have served honorably and to improve the quality of life for them, their families, and the communities where they live through leadership, advocacy and services.

 

As Bridgeview's leading veterans service organization with 300 members, AMVETS Post 192 has a proud history of assisting veterans and sponsoring various programs that serve our country and its citizens. Originally located in the West Lawn Community of Chicago, AMVETS POST 192 was established by veterans of World War II and has since provided services to American Veterans as well as citizens of the Chicagoland Area.
